Introduction: The search for more effective interventions for children with neurodevelopmental disorders has driven the development of intensive and individualized methods. In this context, it is essential to analyze parents’ perceptions and satisfaction with these therapeutic approaches. Objective: To analyze parents’ perceptions and assess their satisfaction with the intensive TREINI Method and the Global Integration Method (MIG) compared with conventional low-intensity training methods. Methods: This cross-sectional study included 327 parents/guardians of children with neurodevelopmental disorders whose children completed three months of intervention using the TREINI or MIG methods. Parental satisfaction was assessed through a semi-structured questionnaire developed by the authors, containing items rated on a five-point Likert scale. Descriptive statistics were used for data analysis. Results: Most parents (83.8%, n=274) considered the TREINI and MIG methods more effective than conventional therapies. Approximately 93% (n=304) reported improvements in their children’s functional skills, and 93.8% (n=305) expressed satisfaction with the intensive methods, compared with 24.2% (n=74) for conventional therapies. Participation in daily activities increased (88.5%, n=289), as did participation outside the clinical setting (82.6%, n=275). In addition, 96.3% (n=315) of parents reported a positive impact on their children’s quality of life, and the recommendation rate was 95.6% (n=315). Conclusion: The TREINI and MIG methods are widely perceived as more effective than conventional therapies, highlighting the importance of intensive and individualized approaches for child development.
