Introduction: Conflicting sensory information from vestibulo-visual interaction or intra-vestibular dysfunction triggers the symptom known as motion sickness, which leads to movement intolerance. It is highly prevalent in children and can delay motor development and learning if left untreated. One possibility for treatment is vestibular rehabilitation (VR), which has had positive results in children. Objective: To verify the impact of a vestibular rehabilitation program on motion sickness susceptible children, as well as to check for possible differences between the genders, and to compare the self-perception of motion sickness with the parents' perception of the child's symptom. Methods: Motion sickness susceptible children were recruited from public schools and assessed by the Motion Sickness Susceptibility Questionnaire (MSA). All children underwent audiological tests, cerebellar function assessment, visual acuity assessment and static and dynamic balance assessment. Cawthorne and Cooksey protocol was adapted for VR and the children were assessed again after 16 rehabilitation sessions. Results: 34 children aged 10 and 11 were included. When comparing the genders, there was no statistical significance when comparing the MSA score (p=0.097). Regarding the MSA, comparing the results obtained from parents and children, there was a significant difference (p=0.016) with higher scores in the children's responses. Conclusion: After the VR program, the children presented an improvement in their motion sickness symptoms, which was observed by reducing their MSA scores.
